Dick Clark: Estados Unidos de luto por su muerte

El presentador Dick Clark murió hoy dejando en luto a los Estados Unidos, que lo siguió por muchos años a través de su programa American Bandstand. El conductor de televisión dejó este mundo a la edad de 82 años.

Según recordó el portal Usmagazine, Clark ayudó a posicionar el rock and roll en el gusto popular de los Estados Unidos. Su vocero Paul Shefrin informó que la estrella de la televisión falleció, pero sin dar muchos detalles.






Como se recuerda en el 2004, Dick sufrió un ataque de apoplejía que lo afectó tremendamente en su rutina diaria, ya que imposibilitó la capacidad de hablar y caminar de Dick Clark.


Se le consideró como el adolescente más viejo del mundo, un apodo que le venía bien por su buen carácter pese a los años que tenía encima.


Se le recuerda porque también fue presentador de los premios American Music Awards.


"American Bandstand" fue un programa que estuvo durante 1957 y 1987 con lo mejor de la música rock.

Oscar: Crece expectativa por la entrega de premios de la Academia

Llega la edición número 84 de los Oscar que se realizará en el centro de Hollywood y Highland, de Los Ángeles. Luego de la renuncia de Eddie Murphy como anfitrión de la gala, Billy Crystal fue elegido para encargarse de la conducción de los premios. Esta será su novena participación en la gran ceremonia del cine.

Las películas más nominadas son Hugo (con 11 candidaturas) y The Artist (con 10). Ambos filmes son las opciones principales para ganar la estatuilla dorada a la mejor película. Aunque también hay otros títulos favoritos  como The Descendants, The Tree of Life o The Help.

Entre las nominadas, se encuentra la actriz Bérénice Bejo (The Artist), quien nació en Argentina. Es una de las aspirantes amejor actriz de reparto y compite con Jessica Chastain (The Help), Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids), Octavia Spencer (The Help) y Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs).

Otro de los duelos más esperados tiene como protagonistas, por un lado, a Viola Davis (The Help) y Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady), por la categoría como mejor actriz. Y por otro lado, a  George Clooney (The Descendants) y Jean Dujardin (The Artist), como principales aspirantes al premio a mejor actor.

En la categoría de mejor guión, podría ganar Hazanavicius por The Artist, así como Woody Allen por el libreto de Midnight in Paris. Mientras que los títulos The Descendants y Moneyball son las favoritas para ganar como mejor guión adaptado.

Entre las películas extranjeras, se enfrentarán los filmes Bullhead (Bélgica), Footnote (Israel), In Darkness(Polonia), Monsieur Lazzard (Canadá) y Nader and Simin: A Separation (Irán).

Taylor Swift cambió la letra de su canción en los Grammy Awards 2012

La princesa del country pop, Taylor Swift, se presentó en el escenario de la 54 edición de los Grammy Awards. Para la ocasión, la cantante interpretó su canción ganadora de un Grammy, ‘Mean’.

Grande fue la emoción, cuando casi al final de su canción cambió la letra de  ‘Mean’ por ‘someday, I'll be singing this at the grammys’, y el público aplaudió el pequeño cambio.

Taylor Swift se llevó a casa 2 gramófonos, por las categorías Mejor Performance Country y Canción Country. 
En noticias relacionadas, hoy se estrena el videoclip de su canción ‘Safe and Sound’, la cual es soundtrack de la película ‘The Hunger Games’.
